Official Spa Buddy Posting Open Thread

Hey guys,

I decided to create this post specifically so you guys can post in the comments if you're looking for someone to go to a spa with, or meet up there, or whatever... makes it a lot easier than going through all the previous posts to see if people have posted there. So if you're planning to go and want to meet people there, you can post (or look) here instead!

A few guidelines...

(1) Post some information about yourself...physical description, age, ethnicity, interests and hobbies... I really don't care. I'm not going to force you to reveal everything about yourself

(2) Sign your name, nickname, user name, whatever you make up to identify yourself. It makes it a lot easier to reply  to you, as opposed to "hey, third person to reply to this comment"

(3) Be specific...

  •  GOOD: "I'll be at Imperial Spa from 7pm-11pm tonight (Jul. 2), wearing a black digital sports watch and my key on my left ankle. And carrying a green water bottle."
  •  BAD: "I'll be at the spa tonight. I'm the guy with a towel. Say hi!"

(4) If you want to talk to someone privately, leave some kind of contact information! It can be a blogger profile that you're logged into, an adam4adam or dudesnude profile, your email address, whatever. One idea is to post something on Craigslist... when you do that, they give you a throwaway temporary email address that forwards to your own email... it's useful if you don't want to post your email address here.

(5) Maybe make some mention of your expectations. If you're looking to jerk off (or more), say so. If you absolutely don't want to do anything sexual and just want to hang out nude with other guys, say so. Not everyone is going there for the same thing. Also remember that Korean spas are not sex clubs.

(6) Be respectful. Don't be racist, ageist, etc... Remember that this isn't your private home, and you can't just tell a certain class of people that they're not welcome.

Review- Thera spa, Tustin

REVIEW : Thera spa, Tustin

Towel Service : 1/5 - given one large towel and 1 small towel (my large towel had a hole in it)
Cruisiness : 2/5
Price : 15 for spa

Overall: 3/10

Was here on a Wednesday night. Only 3 guys there 1 was cruising but not much to look at.  The last hour i was there completely by myself

Pros: Clean, good temps for sauna and steam room
Cons: No one around, employees kept walking and looking in the sauna and steam room. Very small, even smaller than beach spa

Hot tub- Tub is large lots of bubbles but no strong jets

Warm tub- small and square, it was not really warm more cold

Cold Pool- small and square, very very cold

Dry Sauna - Normal dry sauna, smelled nice like cedar, one window on door brightly lit

Steam Room- Strange it had a timer on the wall to make the steam go, when it was on tons of steam in there, cant even see your hand in front of your face.  Glass door and window to the side, not private but enough steam you cant see anything

4 Standard showers and 3 sit down showers.  About 4 chairs and 3 recliners in the wet area

This spa is tiny.  There is only a changing room a bathroom and a wet area. That's it.  The wet area is one room with the hot tubs and steam and sauna in it.  Like I said i only saw 3 guys there 2 old Asian and one white dude who looked like he was cruising.  You could only maybe do something in the steam room but only really hot and steamy.  The steam is either off or on.  It was very clean but i got turned off with the ratty ripped towel they gave me.

I dont think i will go here again, i hear that it can get cruisy but i didn't see that.  I don't know where people do stuff because the employees are "on" it.

REVIEW : Beach Spa, Buena Park

Towel Service : 4/5 - plenty of towels but very thin
Cruisiness : 1/5
Price : 15 for spa
Resting Room :  very dark at far end of dressing room, lots of potential but just no one around to go in
Overall: 2/10

I have been to this spa 2 times, once a Sunday afternoon and once a Wed night.  There is absolutely no one cruising here.  Wed night i was the only non-Asian in the place.  Not very busy i only saw 4 guys here at a time max.

Pros: Plenty of towels. Dark quiet sleeping room.  Not busy
Cons: Not really a steam room, its a mist sauna and its too hot.  Dry sauna too hot. Small hot tubs. No one around.

Hot tub- tub is small, jets are strong, very hot

Warm tub- tub is small jets are not very strong, nice temp.

Cold Pool- This is the standard cold pool.

Dry Sauna - Medium dry sauna, 2 large windows, not very private.  Way too hot

Hot mist room - not a steam room but a VERY hot room with misters in the celing.  This room was so hot it burned the inside of my nose when i breathed.  Only could stay in there for 30 seconds at a time

Standard showers and sit down showers.  A few plastic chair to sit, but in weird awkward places around the wet area.

Sleeping room- very dark room with mats on the floor, lots of potenial, but with no one crusing there its just a nice quiet, dark place to take a nap

Reclining room - room with recliners and TV kinda dark but never seen any action here.

This is a very small spa,  for 15  you do get to use the coed area.  they have a cold room and several dry hot rooms.  This spa is very quiet.  Very few guys here and almost 100% asian.  Never got a cruising vibe here.  It would be a great place to relax but both the dry sauna and hot mist sauna are just way too hot.  I like to spend at least 10 to 20 min in each, but these i could only stand for 30 seconds at a time.  The hot mist room is so hot putting a towel down to sit on still burns your ass.

I think this will be the last time i come here. There are other spas that have better rooms and nicer temperatures in their sauna.

REVIEW : Imperial Spa, Garden Grove

Towel Service : 5/5
Cruisiness : 2/5
Price : 15 for spa
Resting Room :  One but not very good.  Well lit and large window and everyone can see whatever is happening inside
Overall: 5/10

This spa is ok.  Its a mens only spa, no shared section.  Lay out is one large room for wet section, and they a hallway that leads to recliners, outside smoking section and salt room with mats on floor
Pros : Nice layout, good temp on steam rooms. Lots of areas to relax and cool down. Many guys here and seems to be a lot cruising
Cons: No place to play if busy, no sleep room except on recliners.

Spa has the following:

Hot tub- tub is nicely sized but jets are very weak.

Cold Pool- This is the standard cold pool.

Dry Sauna - Large dry sauna, large window, not very private.  TV screen in the spa.

Steam room - large window also, lots of steam hard to see in from outside, so if not busy some action takes place here

Hot Steam room - werid steam room that is not square, but a corner and not very deep.  very steamy almost enough for some play but its right by the door to the exit of the wet area.

Standard showers and sit down showers.  placement of showers is right in the big room, everyone can see you shower.

Sleeping room- long room with mats on the floor, brightly lit and big window where everone can see your buiness.

Reclining room - room with reclinders and TV kinda dark but never seen any action here.

Salt hot room -  big room very hot mats on floor, one window dim lit but too much for anything

Reclining sleep room - room with 5 or so recliners in it, dim lit window on wall, recliners far apart.

Outside patio -  there is a outside area in the middle of the building with a table and chairs, people usually go out here to smoke.

When i was there it was a sunday after noon,  it was very busy. some guys were cruising but not really anyplace to play in there.  Especally if it is busy.  Maybe on a day where its not busy might be easier to mess around.

The 2 times i have been there i have not personalty seen any action, but i have heard of some taking place in the steam rooms.

Review : Imperial spa, Fullerton

REVIEW : Imperial Spa, Fullerton

UPDATE : 6/17/2015
UPDATE 9/15/2016

Towel Service : 5/5 EDIT 9-16  Towel service is now a 1. no unlimited towels they give you 2 small and 1 large towel upon entry
Cruisiness : 3/5
Price : 15 for spa only, 20 for Jim Jil Bang UPDATE no choice of spa only, 20 all the time now
Resting Room :  None, used to have a great dark room with 5 day beds.  Now 2 beds on opposite walls and brighter than a dentists office.
Overall: 8/10

Overall this is one of my favorite spas.

Pros: Great layout, good temps on all the sauna, steam rooms. easy to play in steam room and sauna. always guys cruising around.  Plenty of towels.
Cons: no sleep room. very few places to cool down. Can get so busy in the evenings that you cant play.EDIT 9-16 i was there on a friday and sat night, have security guard watching everyone and peeking in on steam rooms.  I was told i was sitting too close to a friend of mine, we were not doing anything but talking

Spa has the following:

Hot, Hot tub- This is the largest body of water in the place, temperature is suppose to be very hot, but it varies from day to day.  sometimes i find it unbearable hot other times just luke warm.  few jets in the tub are not very strong.

Warm tub with strong jets- this tub is amazing.  2 jets on your back and 2 on your legs about calf high.  The jets are the strongest i have ever had in a hot tub, almost knocks you off your seat. EDIT 9-16 only 1 of the 5 jets were working for over a month

Cold Pool- This is the standard cold pool.  once again the temperature ranges from bitter cold to just cool.

Dry Sauna - Good temperature, also most of the time dark.  they have a carpet on the floor.  bring a towel to sit on. One big window to the spa area and one window to the steam room. its hard for people to look in mostly so some times things happen in there.

Steam room - Window to spa, and window to dry sauna and herbal steam room.  you cant see either side of the herbal steam room window but the dry sauna can see in and you cant see the dry.  i have seen play in there before. mostly people sit on the bottom step to make it harder for on lookers.

Herbal Steam room - i don't know why its an herbal steam room, it kinda smells different in there, but not enough to call it herbal.  one window to other steam room that no one can see through.  and one large window to spa area but its in the corner. this room tends to get a lot of play because it is hard to see in.

Standard showers, 2 one person tubs off to the side, (these are gone now)3 rows of sit down showers and a scrub down area. Place to lay down for 2 under some red lights.

Down side there used to be 5 recliners but there are 0 now, there is no place to sit and cool down within the spa area.

Towels are single small hand towels that lead to no one really covering up. mostly well stocked one time there they ran out but mostly they keep up good with it. NOT ANYMORE

In the dressing room there are a few couches that face a tv with Korean programing on it. kinda awkward because you have to pass naked from the lockers to the spa area walking right in front of people viewing the TV.

crowd tends to be some kids on the weekends, mostly quiet during the day weekday. all age ranges, some cuisines but nothing crazy.

This is a great spa to come to relax get some steam and occasionally see or get involved in some fun.
